Art has always been a huge part of my life: I have always been drawing, painting and creating something. I started selling my paintings and creating murals on commission when I was seventeen. Since then, I have worked as a Graphic Designer, Muralist, Accountant, Fine Artist, and Illustrator.

I grew up in Novokuznetsk, Russia where I studied Fine Arts at the local School of Art for four years and graduated with excellence.
 
I also have a Master's degree in Accounting and Economics (my Mom convinced me to get it), and I am a CPA (I earned the license when I moved to the US about fifteen years ago). I am grateful to my Mom and to myself for getting all this knowledge because it instilled a strong business mindset in me and gave me courage to follow my heart by starting my own Art business.

I am a founder of the Empowered Artists community where I share best practices and teach masterclasses to help Artists bring their visions of success to life!

My calling for illustrating children's books awoke when I became a mother, and since then, writing and illustrating children's books has become one of my passions. I am an active member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators.
